Admissions Procedures

We appreciate your interest in St. Mary’s School and we are anxious to help you in determining the appropriate placement for your child.  After your initial contact and decision to apply for admission, the process is as follows:
  1. Please submit your admission form and required documents (see below) either by mail or in person to the school office.
  2. Our office will then be in contact with you to arrange a convenient time for an interview.  Please bring all available previous school records to the interview.
  3. Following the interview and evaluation of the materials, the parents will be notified about their child's admission status.  When a place at St. Mary’s School is offered, the parents and child will receive a letter of Admission.

Required Documents

  • A Birth Certificate and a Baptismal Certificate must be presented for all Catholic children.  Non-Catholics must present a Birth Certificate.
  • The child's record of immunizations must meet New York State requirements.
  • The most recent report card and standardized test results must be presented for students in grades two through eight.
