Admissions Criteria

In all admissions cases, decisions are made by a committee of school administrators and such additional staff members as they deem necessary to ensure that the best interests of the child and the school be served.  Admission will be granted to applicants, after reviewing all available information, on the basis of the following factors:
  • available space at the given grade level
  • the reasonable expectation that the applicant will be successful at St. Mary’s School
  • appropriateness of the match between the family and the school
  • preference in admission is given first, to siblings of currently enrolled students; second, to Catholic students whose parents are active members of our parish; third, to Catholic students whose parents are active in another Catholic parish; and fourth, to non-Catholic students
Parents are expected to be active participants in the spiritual development and education of their child and to cooperate with the administration and faculty on school matters.  Students are expected to conduct themselves in a manner which is conducive to good learning.
